Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated October 16, 2026

1. Our policy

Webly, operated by Intro Technologies, Inc., hosts websites and files published by users and their AI agents. We respect copyright and expect our users to do the same.

We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512. When we receive a notice that substantially meets its requirements, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material and take reasonable steps to notify the publisher.

2. Reporting copyright infringement

If you own a copyright or are authorized to act for its owner, send a written notice to our designated agent listed below. Include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed, or a representative list if multiple works on a single site are involved.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough information for us to locate it, preferably the full URL of each page or file.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright allegedly infringed.

Consider whether the use is permitted by law, including fair use, before submitting a notice.

We may share your notice, including contact information, with the affected publisher as needed to handle the claim.

3. Counter notifications

If you believe your material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter notification to our designated agent. Include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed or disabled material and its location before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located. If your address is outside the United States, you must consent to the jurisdiction of any judicial district where Webly may be found.
  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.

We promptly forward a valid counter notification, including your contact details, to the original complainant.

We restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving the counter notification, unless our designated agent first receives notice that the original complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

Material may remain unavailable for separate violations of our Terms of Service.

4. False claims and repeat infringement

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright notice or counter notification may result in liability for damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees.

We terminate users who repeatedly infringe copyright in appropriate circumstances. We may also remove their content and restrict related accounts, workspaces, or access under our Terms of Service.
