Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
This policy explains how Intro Technologies, Inc. (“Webly,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you use webly.ai, webly.site, our dashboard, API, MCP server, and related tools, or visit websites hosted on Webly.
1. Our role
We decide how personal information is used to manage accounts, handle billing, operate our own websites, and protect the Service. Where applicable law uses the term, we act as a “controller” for these purposes.
When we host content or process information on a site owner’s instructions, we generally act as their “processor.” We may separately use request and security information to prevent abuse, maintain reliability, and meet our legal obligations.
Site owners are responsible for explaining their own collection and use of visitors’ information. For questions about information submitted to a hosted website, contact its owner first. You can also contact us for help.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Webly, we collect:
- Account information: information you provide or that we receive from your sign-in provider, such as your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Workspace information: membership, roles, invitations, and access permissions.
- Content and settings: websites, files, source code, domain settings, and related information submitted by you or your agents.
- Billing information: subscription details, payment status, and transaction records. Payment providers process your payment card details.
- Technical information: IP addresses, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, API and MCP activity, and diagnostic records.
- Communications: support messages, feedback, and abuse or copyright reports.
We receive information directly from you, from services you connect, and automatically when you or your agents use the Service.
3. Visitors to hosted websites
When you visit a website hosted on Webly, we process request information needed to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and protect against abuse. This may include your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and access time.
Where Webly provides site analytics, we process information about visits and make analytics available to the site owner. Where we process form submissions on an owner’s behalf, the owner receives the information you submit.
Site owners may add their own scripts, cookies, forms, analytics, or external services. Their privacy notices and the relevant providers’ policies explain those activities.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Authenticate users and manage accounts, workspaces, and permissions.
- Store and publish content, serve websites, connect domains, and process authorized requests.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Provide available site analytics and handle information on site owners’ instructions.
- Provide support, diagnose problems, and improve the Service.
- Prevent phishing, spam, fraud, and other abuse.
- Enforce our terms and meet legal obligations.
- Send account, billing, security, and other service messages.
- Send product updates where permitted, with an option to unsubscribe.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performing our contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing Webly, legal obligations, and consent where required. Our legitimate interests include preventing abuse, maintaining reliability, and improving the Service.
5. Content, workspaces, and AI agents
Public content. Websites and files you publish publicly can be accessed, copied, or indexed by others. Deleting content from Webly does not remove copies held elsewhere.
Workspaces. Other workspace users may access information and content according to their roles and permissions. Permission to manage content does not, by itself, transfer legal ownership.
Connected agents and services. Agents and integrations you authorize may access content and information within their permissions. Information they receive through Webly may be processed under their own terms and privacy policies.
AI training. We do not use your content to train AI models. If you connect an independent AI agent or service, its handling of information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Authorized Webly personnel and providers may access information as needed to operate, support, maintain, or secure the Service and meet legal obligations.
6. How we share information
We share information with providers that help operate Webly, including hosting, storage, content delivery, authentication, payments, email, analytics, and error monitoring providers. They receive information relevant to their services.
Some providers, such as payment and sign-in providers, may also process information for their own purposes under their privacy policies.
We also share information:
- With site owners, workspace users, and integrations as described in this policy.
- When you direct or authorize us to do so.
- Where required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights and safety.
- As part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sign-in sessions, remember preferences, understand usage, and diagnose problems.
Analytics and diagnostic tools may collect information about interactions with our websites and dashboard. Where session replay is enabled, it may record interactions and information displayed during a session to help investigate problems.
Where required by law, we obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You can also manage cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may prevent some features from working.
Individual site owners may use their own cookies and tracking technologies. Their privacy notices explain those practices.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
We determine retention periods based on the type and sensitivity of the information, the services you use, security needs, and applicable legal requirements.
Account information and hosted content are generally retained while needed to provide the Service. When you delete content or close your account, we remove the related information from active systems, except where continued retention is necessary for billing, security, legal obligations, or resolving disputes.
Analytics, diagnostic logs, and abuse-prevention identifiers are retained only as needed for their operational and security purposes. Information processed on a site owner’s behalf is retained according to their instructions and our applicable agreement.
Limited copies may remain in backups until those backups expire. We delete or anonymize personal information when it is no longer needed.
Deleting information from Webly does not remove copies already received by site owners, connected services, or public visitors.
9. International processing
Webly is operated by a US company. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the arrangements required for those transfers. Contact us for information about processing locations and the safeguards applicable to your information.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
- Complain to a data protection authority.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
Use available account controls or email contact@webly.ai to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
You can unsubscribe from product emails using the link in those messages. Essential account and service messages may still be sent.
California residents may have additional rights to know about, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to exercise applicable privacy rights without discrimination.
If your request concerns information processed on a site owner’s behalf, we may refer it to the owner or assist them in responding.
11. Security and children
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure. Report suspected security issues to contact@webly.ai.
Webly is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law. If you believe we have collected a child’s personal information unlawfully, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Updates and contact
We will post updates to this policy and revise the date above. For material changes, we will provide notice by email, through the Service, or by another appropriate method. We will obtain consent where required by law.
